WARNINGS

The Lightinderm system is an anti-aging beauty treatment designed to be used at home. It is in no way designed to treat health conditions.
When the device is used in the bathroom, unplug it after use, as a nearby water source poses a danger, even if it is turned off.
For further protection, the installation of a residual current device (RDD) with a rated operating rating of less than 30 mA is recommended in the bathroom electrical circuit. Ask your installer for advice.
Do not use this appliance near a bathtub, shower, sink or other container containing water.
This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and by people with reduced motor, sensory and mental abilities or who have never used it, as long as they are supervised or follow the instructions for safe use of the appliance. device, and are aware of the potential risks.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Do not introduce water or liquid into any part of the device, as this could affect its operation.
The Lightinderm device only works with Lightinderm serum capsules.
Do not use the Lightinderm device if it is visibly damaged and never attempt to open or repair the device. Please contact customer service if necessary.

Light and Serums

Are the treatments suitable for sensitive skin?

Our serums are suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.
No intolerance reactions were observed during the various clinical studies.

Are your products natural?

Our serums were developed and manufactured in France. They are composed of 90% ingredients of natural origin. Lightinderm® serums, composed of reference active ingredients in dermocosmetics, are formulated while respecting the well-being of the skin and the environment. We have chosen to use synthetic components, recognized and proven for their effectiveness, but all from natural components.
Our serums are: fragrance-free, silicone-free, vegan, clinically tested.

Are there any risks of allergies when using the program?

There is no risk of skin allergy (clinical study carried out on 33 women over 28 days – no signs of allergy noted).
The gesture may trigger a slight transient redness or the feeling of slight heating, more noticeable on fragile or reactive skin.
During normal use, once a day, the skin adapts and these manifestations tend to become less frequent. In the unlikely event that intense redness or a burning feeling develops and persists for more than 30 minutes after the session, please contact our customer service team.

Is the light emitted by the device dangerous for the skin?

On the contrary, the light diffused by the Lightinderm device does not contain Ultra-Violet, but only light waves beneficial for the health of your skin.

Is it dangerous for the eyes?

Our product is risk 0 on the photo-biological risk standard, this means that it is completely harmless and does not cause any damage to the eyes. Our low intensity lights are risk free according to the European standard.
However, if the light bothers you, you can close your eyes.

Are there any particular contraindications to the use of the treatment?

There are no particular contraindications, however do not use this device if your skin is photosensitive or if you are currently taking medications that could cause hypersensitivity of the skin to light. If you have any particular doubts, do not hesitate to contact us, or to contact your dermatologist.

Can the treatment be carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

As a precaution, we recommend not using Lightinderm during pregnancy or breastfeeding but can be used after or before this period to support your skin throughout its development.

How long can it take to see results?

From the first use of Lightinderm, you will experience an improvement in the softness, smoothness and hydration of your skin.
From 14 days, you will be able to notice the first improvements depending on the programs. From 28 days, the skin's regeneration mechanisms will be re-stimulated. On each product sheet, you can find all the results of our various clinical studies.

Can we use different programs simultaneously?

Yes, you can absolutely combine different programs. You can use one program in the morning and another in the evening or alternate programs every day. However, it is recommended to do at least one 3-minute session per day. For example, apply the Repair Program for 3 minutes in the morning and apply the Purity Program for 3 minutes in the evening.

What happens if I miss a day of treatment?

Don't panic, you'll get back to your routine the next day!

Is fragrance present in Lightinderm serum capsules?

No, there is no trace of perfume in our formulas (0% perfume). The fragrance you can smell emanates from the composition of the active ingredients.

How often should the treatment be used?

To achieve significant results, the Lightinderm device should be used daily for 3 minutes in the morning or evening.

What is the duration of application?

Each treatment lasts 3 minutes in total, on the entire face.
15 seconds per zone is recommended. This is the time for the combination of light + active ingredients to effectively activate cell regeneration. You can refer to the product sheet for details of the gestures per program.

How do I properly store my capsules?

Overall the recommendation is to store the capsules at room temperature, preferably in a dry and cool place between 5-25°C. For Purity, we recommend keeping them cool (8-12 degrees) to optimize the freshness experience, and this can help with proper diffusion. This is not an absolute necessity, more of an orientation towards a better experience.
They can be kept for 2 years.

From what age can you use Lightinderm programs?

Lightinderm technology acts on skin health at all ages. There is therefore no prerequisite age for starting treatment. We recommend use from the age of 25.

Can Lightinderm treatments accompany a cure for acne?

We advise you to discuss this with your dermatologist. You can also contact Lightinderm Customer Service to direct you to a healthcare professional.

Where is the product made?

Lightinderm products are 100% Made in France. The Lightinderm device is manufactured in factories in Soisson. The serum is developed in Avignon and is produced in Lentilly (69210 – Rhône), the capsules are produced in Oyonnax (01100 – Ain)

Should I apply my day cream after treatment?

Depending on your skin type, daily treatment with Lightinderm may be sufficient to meet your skin needs. People with a drier skin type or people using the Lightinderm treatment at night will most likely need additional moisturizer in the morning, before applying makeup.

Does the serum contain SPF?

We always recommend using appropriate sun protection when exposed to the sun. The best way to enjoy the sun safely and protect your skin is to use a combination of shade, clothing and sunscreen ;).

How long after can I continue my beauty routine?

If you have any residual serum left, gently tap onto your skin in an upward motion. You can continue your beauty routine by applying your moisturizer or makeup.

What are the recommended steps before using the treatment?

We recommend cleansing your skin before using the treatment. Avoid harsh cleansers and soaps, as they can disrupt your skin's skin barrier. Select a cleanser suited to your skin type and preferences (rinse or wipe). Cleanse twice a day, morning and evening.

What is the effect of light on the skin?

Light is a form of energy. Certain wavelengths have well-known properties and are essential for photosynthesis in plant cells. We were able to demonstrate that human skin cells could also react to light, which can have consequences on the biology of the cell: energy supply, protein synthesis, cell multiplication for example.
If certain wavelengths can be harmful to the skin, such as UV when abused, others can be particularly beneficial.
The specifically selected wavelengths of Lightinderm programs stimulate and regenerate skin cells.

Can the Lightinderm device be used with other serums?

No, only Lightinderm capsules can be used with the Lightinderm device. Lightinderm serum capsules are specifically formulated for complementary action with each light program diffused by the device.

What should I do with my used serum capsules?

All our capsules are recyclable. The cap must be recycled with the plastic, and the “body” of the capsule, which contains the glass massage ball, must be recycled in the glass bin. A pouch is provided with your device for collecting and recycling your capsules.​

Operation & Maintenance of the device

Charging the device

To charge your device, simply plug the socket into a suitable switch.
When the battery is discharged, the vertical charge indicator at the top of the device circle lights solid red. Once charged, the indicator flashes red, then green as it charges. Once the device is fully charged, the indicator light is solid green.
Fully charging the battery takes approximately 20 minutes.

Turn on the device

If you are turning on the device for the first time, you may need to charge your device. However, you can still turn on and use your device while charging.
Press the on/off button to turn on the device, until it starts (approximately 2 seconds). After recognition of the capsule, the device displays the selected program and the number of doses remaining. It is ready to use.

Start a program

Insert a Lightinderm serum capsule straight into the device, once lowered into the neck of the device, press the top of the cap until a click is heard.
Caution: do not “screw” the capsule or turn it once in the neck of the device, this could damage it. Press the on/off button until the device starts (approximately 2 seconds). The device will turn on and detect the serum capsule. Wait for the screen lights to turn on. Remove the cap from the serum capsule. Press the on/off button again to start the session.

The scattered light is not the same color as the capsule

Eject and reinsert the capsule. Please contact customer service specifying your order number if it is an internet order.

Program progress

For each serum, a gesture has been specifically developed to maximize the synergy between serum and light.
Apply for 3 minutes (12*15 seconds), then the device will turn off automatically. You can leave the capsule inserted, recap it and remove it after 7 applications.

If too much serum is released during the treatment session

Apply a reasonable amount of serum to the face and remove excess with a clean tissue.
There is a certain heterogeneity in the diffusion of serum throughout the same session (you may have more serum on one area, and little on another), this is completely normal; our clinical studies were carried out under these same diffusion conditions and this in no way alters the results obtained.​

If you notice a total absence of serum on more than 3 areas in a row during the same session, we invite you to contact customer service.
Also and in order to ensure optimal diffusion of the serum, we remind you that it is necessary to keep your capsules straight.

If too little serum is released on the first dose

Lightly shake the new cartridge before reinserting it into the device.
There is a certain heterogeneity in the diffusion of serum throughout the same session (you may have more serum on one area, and little on another), this is completely normal; our clinical studies were carried out under these same diffusion conditions and this in no way alters the results obtained.​

If you notice a total absence of serum on more than 3 areas in a row during the same session, we invite you to contact customer service.
Also and in order to ensure optimal diffusion of the serum, we remind you that it is necessary to keep your capsules straight.

If too little serum is released to cover the area completely

Go over the entire area for the first time, moving the ball in circular movements to distribute the serum well, then go over the same area a second time until you hear a beep (a total of 15 seconds per area).
There is a certain heterogeneity in the diffusion of serum throughout the same session (you may have more serum on one area, and little on another), this is completely normal; our clinical studies were carried out under these same diffusion conditions and this in no way alters the results obtained.​

Eject the capsules

To eject the serum capsule from the device, press the button on the back of the device.
If you are unable to remove the serum capsule: Press firmly on the ejection button on the back of the product while gently pulling the capsule to remove it.

Turn off the device

To turn off the device, simply press and hold (around 3 seconds) the on/off button.

How often should the Lightinderm device be charged?

The Lightinderm device supports up to 7 uses of 3 minutes. The device has been programmed not to start a cycle if it no longer has enough battery to cover the entire cycle.

How many doses do I have left in my capsule?

Thanks to the control screen, you can know at any time how many treatments you have left with your capsule. One capsule contains 7 days of treatment.
For example, if 5 LEDs are displayed, you have 5 3-minute treatments remaining on your serum capsule.

The device rings 3 times then turns off

It tells you that there is no serum capsule inserted, or that the inserted capsule is empty.

The lights are flashing

The device has detected the capsule and tells you how much treatment is left and what combination of light will be used for your treatment.

The device beeps every 15 seconds

This is completely normal, the device tells you when you need to change zones. Every 15 seconds for 3 minutes.

The device does not turn on

Make sure the device is fully charged, if not charge it for 20 minutes and try turning it on again
Press the power button for 10 seconds and turn the product back on
If, despite charging, your device does not turn on, do not hesitate to contact our customer service.

A red light comes on on the device

This light tells you that you need to charge your device.

A green light comes on on the device

This light tells you that the device is at its optimal charge level.

Device paused

The device, if it has been paused, will turn off automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Please note, if the device turns off alone after being paused without being restarted after 2 minutes, the session started will be considered completed in full, the capsule will therefore display 1 session less the next day.

Program light does not turn on

Charge the device for 20 minutes and try turning it on again
Press the power button for 10 seconds and turn the product back on. If, despite these steps, the light does not turn on, contact customer service.

The circular screen does not turn on

This light tells you that the device is at its optimal charge level.

Too much serum is released during the treatment session

Excess serum may be delivered during treatment. Apply a reasonable amount of serum to the face and remove excess with a clean tissue.

Is the Lightinderm device waterproof?

The Lightinderm device is water resistant but not waterproof.

Device maintenance precaution

We recommend that you position the device on the base provided, vertically, between each use, to ensure good diffusion of the serum during sessions.
We also recommend that you use the pouch provided for this purpose to carry your device.

How do I maintain my device?

The Lightinderm device does not require any special maintenance. However, we recommend that you clean it if necessary with a microfiber cloth.

Subscriptions

How do our subscriptions work?

We have set up a subscription system to make your skincare routine easier. It's very simple, when choosing your program, simply choose the capsule subscription function, so you will receive your serum capsules each month. We will alert you by email 7 days before your order is shipped so that you can make the necessary modifications (without modification on your part, the order will be identical to that of the previous month).

How much do our subscriptions cost?

Our subscriptions range from €52.90 to €69.90 / month depending on the program chosen.

How many capsules will I receive each month?

Each month you will receive 4 serum capsules, or 28 days of treatment.

What should I do if the quantity of serum capsules I receive is too low/too large for me?

If the quantity of serum capsules was insufficient, you can contact our customer service at contact@lightinderm.com to advance your next shipment. If you have any capsules left, you can continue to use them. You can store serum capsules for up to 2 years.

How to change subscription?

To change your subscription, simply go to your customer account at least 7 days before renewal and choose another program. You can also contact our customer service by telephone or by email at contact@lightinderm.com.

When can I change my subscription?

You can modify your subscription at any time 7 days before it renews. To do this, you must go to your account in the my subscriptions section.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Our subscriptions are without commitment, you can cancel it, up to 7 days before the automatic renewal date. Go to your personal space on the site, my subscriptions section. When will I receive the first order?

You will receive your order within 24-48 hours once your package has been shipped.

When will I be collected?

Can I have multiple subscriptions?

You can absolutely combine several subscriptions. Each subscription will automatically renew every month on the anniversary of your initial order. Can I pause my subscription?

What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay online by bank card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Visa Electron, Master Card, American Express) via the secure Stripe payment system or by Paypal.
Subscriptions can only be made through Stripe.

Is payment secure?

How do I return my product to you?

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are free for all orders over 100 euros, to mainland France, placed on the site www.lightinderm.com. For other destinations, shipping costs are automatically calculated and displayed in the basket, after entering your delivery address.

Delivery delay

When your order is received by our carrier, you will receive it on average within 24-48 hours (delays normally observed) for France and 10 working days for abroad. Please note that during the launch period, the preparation times for your order may be extended. In the event of delivery outside mainland France, administrative and/or customs fees may be applied by the carrier.

Returns

Have you changed your mind? In accordance with the provisions of articles L. 121-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the customer has his legal right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Product ordered on the Site. , without having to provide reasons. You have 14 days after receipt of your order to return your device and your serum capsules to us. Please note that opened boxes (without their safety cap) cannot be returned or refunded. If your items are still in your basket then your order is not validated.

I don't want to subscribe, is this possible?

It is entirely possible that you only buy once, to do this go to the program you have selected and choose the option you prefer. When you place an order on lightinderm.com, you have the choice between placing a so-called “à la carte” or “subscription” order, that is to say that either you will only receive your order once or you place a order in the form of a subscription, and you will therefore receive the serum cartridges each month. To place an order that you will only receive once, choose the à la carte method before validating your basket.

Guarantee

How long is my device guaranteed?

The Lightinderm device is guaranteed for 2 years from the date appearing on your invoice for an internet purchase. If you did not purchase your product online, the date appearing on your receipt is binding.

How to benefit from the loyalty program?

Any Customer automatically joins the Program free of charge when creating their personal customer account on the Lightinderm.com website. Purchases in store and from our resellers do not allow access to the Program or the accumulation of loyalty points.

How to earn points ?

Each euro spent is equivalent to one point earned, for any order placed
on the website.

You also accumulate
points on your birthday (if your birthday is indeed
entered in your customer account), during Privilege Days (if you make purchases on that day) and when you subscribe to the serum capsules subscription for the first time.

How do I access my benefits?

Your benefits are unlocked automatically when you upgrade to a status

Capsule recycling

A pouch is provided for this purpose and will allow you to keep/recycle your capsules. Our capsules are entirely recyclable: the cap in the “plastic” bin and the body of the capsule can be recycled with the glass.
